Arrive at Paro International Airport where you will be warmly received by our representative. After completing arrival formalities, begin your scenic drive to Thimphu, passing through beautiful valleys, rivers, and traditional Bhutanese villages.
As Bhutan is located at a higher altitude, the day is kept relaxed for acclimatization. In Thimphu, visit the National Memorial Chorten, an important spiritual site where locals gather for prayers. Continue to Simply Bhutan Museum to experience traditional Bhutanese culture and lifestyle. Later, visit the impressive Tashichho Dzong, a fortress that houses government offices and the King’s throne room.

After breakfast, visit the Buddha Dordenma Statue, offering panoramic views of Thimphu Valley. Drive towards Punakha via the famous Dochula Pass (3,050 m), known for its 108 memorial chortens and breathtaking Himalayan views on clear days.
On arrival in Punakha, visit the magnificent Punakha Dzong, located at the confluence of two rivers and considered one of Bhutan’s most beautiful fortresses. Later, walk across the Punakha Suspension Bridge, offering scenic views of the valley and river below.

Begin your day with a short hike to Khamsum Yulley Namgyal Chorten, a beautiful temple built for peace and protection, offering stunning views of the valley.
Later, visit Chimi Lhakhang, a sacred temple dedicated to Drukpa Kunley, widely known as a fertility shrine. After sightseeing, drive back to Paro, enjoying the scenic mountain landscapes along the way.

According to legend, Guru Padmasambhava meditated here after arriving on the back of a tigress. The hike is a rewarding experience combining spirituality, nature, and adventure. Return to Paro and relax after the trek.
